Simple utility to print your file structures
It’s a simple job but who would have imagined that you need a small utility just to print out your file structures?
YourDir allows you to do so which isn’t as easy as it sounds because file structures can be extremely dense and complex. Of course, you could use a screen capture programme but what’s nice about YourDir is that it’s designed specifically for this kind of task and simply requires you to browse the the directories you want to map and then hit “capture” and then “print”.
There aren’t many customization options other than the possibility to extend the number of folders shown or save the structures as a disk image (useful if you want to restore them at a later point) but that’s all you need. Note however that you’ll need Microsoft .NET Framework 2 to run YourDir.
YourDir performs a simple function that should come as standard with Windows but doesn’t require much learning.
