XMedia Recode Portable features a simple interface, but don’t let that fool you; it’s a powerful program that works with many different formats and includes a bunch of settings to configure video conversion down to the smallest detail. XMedia Recode Portable also features a built-in video player to preview the videos you’re about to convert.

XMedia Recode Portable is also very easy to use. Just open the files you want to convert, select the output format, tweak settings according to your needs and likes and you’re good to go. Just bear in mind that you need to add the file to the queue (the “Add job” button) before you can start the conversion – it took us a little while to figure this out.

Other than that, there’s not much else to say about XMedia Recode Portable. Conversion takes a while, but the program can work with several files simultaneously and the results are great.
