Xion Portable is the pocket-sized, standalone version of Xion, an attractive music player that you can customize with hundreds of free skins.

Being Portable, Xion doesn’t require installation and can be run from a USB device. Plus it doesn’t change any file association nor does it perform any operation outside the folder you unzip it to. Simply load your favorite music into it and click on the “Play” button.

Xion supports a wide array of audio formats, including streaming radio from the Internet and playlists. It doesn’t support video though, and playlists must be managed on a separate window with the help of a special add-on that’s already included in the program. Xion also includes a 10-band equalizer with a bunch of presets and the always-useful global hotkeys, with which you can control the program from any app with a simple keyboard shortcut.
