A world rally driving game with an emphasis on detail

WRC 7 is the official racing game of the 2017 FIFA World Rally Championship. You may drive against the computer, against players locally, or against players online. The makers have tried hard to make the game realistic without excluding new and novice players. It also has a few hair-raising moments too when your car starts to skid.

A very realistic and detailed racing game

WRC 7 is similar to most driving games, but it differs because it pays so much attention to detail. People were impressed in the early days of Gran Tourismo how the game had so much car, arena, driving and branding detail. WRC 7 is very similar in that respect because the courses are all real-life courses that real World Rally drivers use. The way the cars handle, the upgrades, and even the damage the cars take is all hyper realistic. In addition, the graphics are worthy of any next-gen console as it takes full advantage of all the processors and RAM they offer. In fact, if the game had better lighting effects, it could easily be mistaken for photo-realistic.

Only veteran racing fans will notice its flaws

Despite the massive effort the makers have made in creating a realistic game, there are still things that veteran Rally fans and racing-game fans will notice. Some complain about how the tyre slip is not realistic enough, and others about how the cockpit wobbles too much. Nevertheless, it is a fine game and a worthy addition to racing fan’s game collections.
