World of Final Fantasy is a special version of the popular JRPG with new gameplay elements and guest appearances from popular characters. Guide two siblings through a magical world to reclaim their powers.

Magic reborn

With a core gameplay mechanic somewhere between a main Final Fantasy and Pokemon, World of Final Fantasy is a reimagined JRPG. Two new characters, Reynn and Lann, wake in the land of Grymoire to find their memories and powers lost. It is then a fairly typical adventure through different lands with bosses and rare items, with a monster-based twist. Monsters are captured and then become fighting allies which can be levelled up, taught new abilities, or “evolved”. They then fight in a stack with the main characters, creating a unique unit with particular strengths and weaknesses. This adds a welcome element of strategy and thought, somewhat underused outside of boss fights. Fan favourites like Cloud and Tifa are encountered in the world and then become special summons, creating a kind of love letter to the main series.
