Worcesters Big Parade: A Stunning Art Trail in Worcester
Worcesters Big Parade is a multimedia application available on the iPhone platform, developed by Wild in Art Limited. It is a free art trail that features beautifully decorated elephant sculptures, both big and small, marching through the streets and open spaces of Worcester. The sculptures are individually designed by artists, either well-known or just starting out, from the Worcestershire area or further afield.
The parade will start on Monday, 12th July, and will continue for eight weeks until Sunday, 5th SeptemberDuring this period, the sculptures will be sponsored by businesses and will form a stunning art trail that will bring the community together for one unforgettable event.
At the end of the trail, there will be a Farewell Event, where visitors will have the chance to say a final goodbye to the elephants. After this, each sculpture will be auctioned to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice. The application provides up-to-date news and information about the parade, and users can share in the excitement on social media channels using #WorcsBigParade.
