Wireless DCP: Remote Control for Yamaha MTX/MRX Series Signal Processors
Wireless DCP is a free Android application developed by Yamaha Corporation that allows users to remotely control Yamaha MTX/MRX series signal processors. This application provides simple and intuitive graphical templates that enable users to control the volume levels, on/off controls, preset recall, and play music or announcements from an SD card. The app is designed for use with Yamaha MTX/MRX hardware and MTX-MRX Editor software. The demo mode allows users to view how the app looks and performs with a range of demonstration projects. A list of tested Android devices is available from the Yamaha Pro Audio website.
Regarding privacy, this application will never collect nor externally transfer personal data stored in your smartphone/tablet. The application uses WiFi function on your mobile terminal to make a connection under a WiFi-enabled environment for the purpose of operating network-enabled devices. If using the Wireless DCP Application with a Wi-Fi router that has no internet connection, the MTX/MRX device located on the local network cannot be detected automatically. In this case, your device can connect to the MTX/MRX device by performing one of two operations.
