Save the baby, save the day

Who’s your daddy features a hapless baby in a dangerous living environment, and it is the father’s job to try to save the baby from itself so that it doesn’t die. Play by yourself or with a friend and either try to kill yourself as the baby or you may play as the father who tries to rescue the baby. The baby may stick forks in outlets, fall from high places, or play with dangerous kitchen utensils.

A weird casual game set in a simple household

The game isn’t full of fireworks or amazing set pieces. It was created very cheaply with money from a crowd-funding website. The graphics are very basic and there is very little texture detail. The character models are also rather lackluster. However, Who’s your daddy has fast gameplay as one player rushes towards death while the other tries to save the baby from death. The baby may search drawers, fall into things and even crawl into the over, and it is the dad’s job to secure dangerous objects and follow the baby around to hopefully undermine its death wish antics. With Who’s your daddy, either the dad wins by stopping the baby dying, or the baby wins by finding a way to die successfully.

A nice casual game that primarily suits co-op play

The game is a little dull if you have nobody to play against, but it livens up if you are playing with a friend. Playing against other people adds a level of unpredictability. For example, the baby may appear to be opening the oven to get in, when in fact it is trying to bait the father to move locations so the baby can sneak past and get lost. It is fun for most casual players, but the humor may be a little too adult for younger children.
