WhatWeather – Weather Station: A Comprehensive Weather App
WhatWeather – Weather Station is a free weather app that allows you to convert your old Android phone or tablet into a weather station. It displays up-to-date weather information, hourly forecasts, daily forecasts, and weather history for up to three days. The display is always on, and the content is automatically updated. The app is free and without ads, and in-app purchases are optional donations.
This app offers more than just basic weather information. You can choose from numerous weather data providers, including OpenWeatherMap, Weather API, DWD, NOAA, Visual Crossing, WeatherFlow, and AccuWeather. You can also integrate your private weather station via Netatmo, Weather Underground, or WeatherFlow. The app offers additional features such as more frequent automatic refresh, minutely rain forecasts, and the ability to automatically dim or turn off the display. You can also access values like rain probability and intensity, cloud cover, dew point, UV index, ozone, and visibility in a popup window. The app is compatible with Android versions 4.0 or higher.
