A remote party game for all ages
What the Dub?! is a multiplayer party game in which players overdub clips from old movies, PSAs, and industrial films to create funny new dialogue for the characters onscreen. Whether in the same room or connected remotely, players submit their dub and watch as the clips fill in the missing audio with their suggestions. Once completed, every player votes for their favorite.
Similar to games like Quiplash and Drawful 2, What the Dub?! is a party game that doesn’t require an actual in-person party. For remote playing, players can use the browser on their smartphone, tablet, or computer to enter text and vote while connected via Zoom. Audiences can also watch through Twitch and vote for their favorites.
What is the objective of What the Dub?!
Besides having fun, the goal of What the Dub?! is simple: to be the player with the most points at the end of the game. Points are awarded based on how many votes the dubs receive. If you can make your friends laugh with your suggested dub, you’ll stand a much better chance of winning.
How many people can play What the Dub?!
What the Dub?! can be played with up to 6 players. Even if players are in different rooms or in different countries, they can connect to the game remotely using a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer. As long as the device has a browser connection, players can join the game.
A game for everyone, everywhere
In addition to mobile gameplay connection, What the Dub?! comes loaded with a host of streamer-friendly features that can connect players face-to-face, too. Through Zoom or a Steam broadcast, the audience will also be able to view the game interface, while Twitch chat voting will get them in on the fun.
