The game gets off to a strong start with a gripping storyline that helps to add to the feeling of suspense. As players explore the dimly lit house, they come across a series of broken dolls, which appear to be watching them through dead eyes. However, the story quickly fades into the background. While there are plenty of different puzzles to solve, they are very easy and similar to each other, while the story comes to a very abrupt end that can be rather jarring.

The addition of virtual reality makes the game come to life and provides an extra sense of menace with threat appearing to lurk around every corner, although the mind numbing nature of the puzzles is disappointing.
