Free Fallout 4 weapons collection
Weaponsmith Extended is a free collection of weapons for Fallout 4 that’s sourced from the Nexus community of modders and places into one volume. You’ll find a variety of authors at the helm of these extra items via the original mods, but this library puts them together in one bundle for easier installation and use in the game. For similar weapons mods, you can try Crossbows Of The Commonwealth, Extended Weapons, Survival Options, and Combined Arms – Modern Weapon Pack.
While the mod makes it convenient to access a long list of unique and extraordinary weapons you won’t find in the base game, there are several requirements to run it properly. Besides three DLCs, you’ll need some resources from Nexus. The items in Weaponsmith Extended also form the basis for other mods that require it to play properly.
Extra weapons for Fallout 4
While Fallout 4 certainly has a wide variety of weapons and armor, some modders decided to create their own versions for gamers to enjoy. You’ll see unique designs, while others are inspired by other titles. With permission from the creators, Weaponsmith Extended places all these weapons into one complete bundle so that you only need to own and install one mod instead of several.
Includes scrap recipes
When you scrap items in Fallout 4, you’ll usually receive some of the ingredients in exchange. Also, you’ll need some valuable resources to make the weapons in the mod. One of the last updates of Weaponsmith Extended includes adding all the recipes for the additional objects so you can craft them at any time.
Mod requirements
Unfortunately, installing Weaponsmith Extended isn’t as easy as placing the files in your mod folder, and there’s a massive list of Nexus requirements. For example, you’ll need AS Vektor, Atomic Annie – Unique Gun, and DefenseGun mods, to name a few. You’ll also need Automatron, Far Harbor, and Nuka World DLCs.
The shadowy face
Weaponsmith Extended is the ultimate mod if you want a huge collection of unique weapons to slaughter your opponents in Fallout 4. While it’s borrowed from other mods, it makes it convenient to have it all in one place, as long as you have all the DLCs and other modifications needed to run it.
