Interactive biopic game for PC

We are OFK is a premium adventure game for PC by developer Team OFK. It’s an interactive biopic origin story of a real-life indie pop group called OFK. It narrates how four friends came together to form a band and make a name for themselves in the Los Angeles music scene.

Just like with the Life is Strange series or various Telltale Games releases, We are OFK is presented in an episodic nature, moving the story forward, as well as gradually introducing a cast of colorful characters and personalities along the way. The game has a planned release date for 2022.

What is it all about?

We are OFK is a biopic video game and origin story of a real-life indie pop group, OFK. Itsumi Saito just moved downtown with dreams of making it in music. Struggling to establish herself in the cutthroat music scene of L.A., she talks her way into a Hollywood party by chance and befriends a rising music producer and with it, a chance to bring her dreams a little closer.

This game is an episodic narrative that will be presented in 5 parts and will include more than 10 characters to meet. The game will feature fully-voiced interactive dialogues, fun elements like meme sharing, emoji spamming, and even thirst texting, just to name a few. Being set in Los Angeles, it will also include backdrops that are based on real-life locations from ‘ol Tinseltown.

As an added bonus, the game will also feature 5 interactive music videos that will include debut tracks performed by OFK. It was announced during the 2020 Game Awards alongside a live performance by the band. Despite this, there is no exact date for when it will come out yet. All you have to go on is a vague schedule eyeing a 2022 release.

The trials and tribulations of stardom

If you’re a musician or an avid music fan, then We are OFK will be an interesting game to check out. It is an interactive adventure telling the endearing story of making dreams a reality. The fact that it’s based on the real-life experience of an actual band just makes it all the more grounded and relatable. This is a game to keep tabs on when it finally releases.
