Wave Control – Control Your Music and Video Playback with Hand Gestures
Wave Control is a free Android app developed by MarksThinkTank that allows users to control music and video playback, as well as calls, with hand gestures without the need to touch their phone. It works with most popular music and streaming apps and is compatible with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S5 phones, with additional left/right/up/down gestures available.
This app is easy to use: Simply wave your hand over the sensor located near the earpiece, and you can pause and resume playback, skip to the next or previous song, and enable or disable controls with three hand gestures. It is perfect for those who want to change songs while driving, cooking, cleaning, eating, or working out without taking their eyes off what they are doing.
Wave Control has been featured on Lifehacker, PC World, and Huffington Post. The app has a pro version with purchasable upgrades that give access to all current and future features at no additional cost. However, there are known issues with Galaxy Ace, Y, and Fit phones, and the app may not work on new Samsung phones such as the S10/Note 10 due to lack of sensor access.
If you want to control your music and video playback with hand gestures, Wave Control is a great app to try.
