Free demo for WarriOrb

WarriOrb: Prologue is a free demo game for the action-platformer game, WarriOrb. Unlike most demo games, this game app is standalone. In it, you will play as the mighty demon, WarriOrb, who was trapped in an unlikely body. To get your freedom and sanity back, you will need to bounce and roll your way through the ravaged world. Along the way, you will meet demons, mutants, and all sorts of magical and crazy entities. Some are friendly fellows, while some are not so friendly. But all of them are going to talk about how the world will end. WarriOrb: Prologue tells a tragic story of loss and desperation hidden behind a comic game.

Fun with a lot of rough edges

WarriOrb: Prologue is an interesting action game with a lot of fun elements thrown in. Although players may see some similarities with Hollow Knight and Dark Souls, the game managed to keep its identity in some aspect. Its visuals are new, and the story is interesting enough. The combat is also a riot, and the voice acting is oddly entertaining. Moreover, the game offers a satisfying weight to pretty much everything you do.

Bouncing like a complete madman from one platform to another will never get old. However, the sound effects of the golems when you swing around the axes are easily the best part of the game. As mentioned, the combat is the game’s super strong feature. It is versatile despite only having two moves. You can get close to the enemy and chop them away. You can also bounce off them and range-attack them from afar—or even kamikaze yourself and use your melee attack from ten feet off. The game kept the fighting style simple yet expansive.

Overall, WarriOrb: Prologue is a fun game—that is, if the controls work properly. As it is, the controls are a little problematic. It’s sometimes the cause of your character dying in the game. There are also a lot of objectives that are too difficult, so you end up dying lots of times. But if you want to have a glimpse of what the full game entails, this game demo game is worth a try.
