Run your own internet cafe
Warnet Simulator is a free-to-play casual game that puts you in the shoes of an Internet cafe owner and attendant. In this simulation game from Andy Lukito, you get to set up the PC units, serve customers, and make sure everything in your shop runs as it should.
It features a largely simplistic 3D visual design, but it makes up for it with the experience most kids would definitely find nostalgic and relatable. Aside from Warnet Simulator, you can also try PowerWash Simulator or the Internet Cafe Simulator for other unique, yet similar experiences.
An all-around experience
For those unfamiliar, Warnet Simulator is based on the Indonesian term “Warung Internet,” or simply internet cafe. It caters to a lot of different customers — from those playing different video games, students doing their assignments, to people who are just browsing. It’s your job to make sure everything is running well, which will have you take on different tasks. From running the cashier to repairing electrical installations, nothing is impossible.
There are a lot of other activities that make the game even more fun and relatable, especially to people who used to frequent internet cafes. You can upgrade various things inside the shop, such as changing your monoblock stool to an authentic gaming chair. There’s also a security feature, later on, requiring you to pay a security guard regularly to ensure rowdy customers stay in line.
You can interact with a lot of objects, which allows for a hilarious experience. You can throw computer peripherals on patrons and even punch them. However, if you’re looking for a serious game, you can play it by the rules. The only drawback of a game this fun is its graphics. It uses a visual style of polygonal figures with no facial features. It somehow reduces enjoyment of the game.
A fun, relaxing game
Overall, Warnet Simulator is a good casual game, especially for people who actually experienced hanging around internet cafes. It has a lot of activities, including those you don’t think are reasonable or even possible. Aside from the financial and logistical aspects, this game also features an action segment through its security. Whether you’d like to run a successful Warnet or wreak havoc, you’ll enjoy this either way.
