Free song charts
VS Matt Original Charts is a modification for Wii Funkin’ – a Friday Night Funkin’ mod. This mod adds the song charts made by GameBanana user, Aflac, to Wii Funkin’. For the uninitiated, the chart for Friday Night Funkin’ refers to the arrangement of arrows that float on the screen.
This means the mod adds music or challenges to the Wii Funkin’ soundtrack. Since it’s independent of the Wii Funkin’ mod, you can also plug this in the original game and other FNF mods. This creates a bonus week or level in the game so you can play the game longer.
Straightforward music plugin
Friday Night Funkin’, a music-themed game influenced by PaRappa the Rapper and Dance Dance Revolution. VS Matt Original Charts offers more music for Friday Night Funkin’ that can be accessed as a mod. The mod was created originally for another FNF mod, Wii Funkin where the antagonist is ‘Matt’ from the Mii Sports series.
As one of the few FNF mods that do not have additional antagonists, this mod may be a letdown for you. FNF mods like V.S Zardy, V.S. Whitty, and of course, Wii Funkin, include new antagonists that each have a grudge against Boyfriend. This mod simply adds more charts to the original game so you can battle against original antagonists (such as Daddy Dearest).
To win, align each floating arrow as closely as possible with your WASD or arrow keys. The meter at the bottom of the frame will decide the result of each round. When you win, it moves to the left, and when you lose, it moves to the right. You will play this game in 3 difficulty settings: easy, intermediate, and hard.
Same game. More music.
VS Matt Original Charts is a simple mod for FNF players. Rather than playing against new antagonists, you get to go up against old rivals. It also comes in handy when there aren’t any good mods but you’ve already mastered the songs that came with the original FNF. Overall, the mod is useful and it’s worth a try.
