Free multimedia cloud storage

VPhoto is a multimedia application from Shenzhen Fujia Technology.  Free to use, this application provides a platform for you to store your photos or videos in the cloud. With this, you don’t have to delete files when you run out of local storage.

VPhoto works like other cloud storage, such as Google Drive and Dropbox. Here, you can upload your files and share them with your friends via photo frames. You can even allow them to upload their photos and videos. However, your file must be uploaded from your device. Additionally, you cannot see all uploaded pictures from the app.

What does VPhoto do?

VPhoto is a cloud storage app for your photographs and videos. As mentioned, it enables you to upload multimedia files online for safekeeping. Moreover, it also allows you to share these files with your family and friends. To do so, you only need to add them to the photo frame and give them the code for it. Of course, they also need to download the app and create an account.

You can also use the app to send messages to your friends via the photo frame. Not only that, but your friends can also upload photos to the frame. Although, there will be no notifications every time somebody adds a file. Additionally, you should know that you can only upload files from the device where the app is uploaded. You cannot transfer pictures and videos from other cloud storage.

Another thing to worry about is the problematic signing up process. Often, you will fail even in saving your username. Even binding your account with an email address will not be helpful. Also worth noting is that you have to exit and enter the app again every time you want to upload new pictures. Finally, the app is prone to crashing, especially when uploading multiple files.

Should you download it?

Based on its description, VPhoto seemed to be a good media storage application. With it, you can store media files online and share them with your friends and family. However, the app has tons of issues with its functions and usability that can be a deal-breaker. In the end, there are lots of cloud storage apps that offer a better user experience.
