Take control of all your social networking accounts

There are now so many social networking sites out there that it’s very hard to keep control of checking all your accounts at once.

This is not to mention how time consuming it is to keep tabs on everything. VoxOx have therefore come up with the idea that everything should be possible under one umbrella. You can do almost any type of communication task under VoxOX including send e-mail, instant messages, text messages, host video conferences, make phone calls, post messages to your Facebook account, send faxes and much more.

This is obviously an ambitious task and one of the most time consuming issues with VoxOx is simply configuration of the service. If you’re going to get maximum use from it, you’ll have to import all your contacts from your regular IM client, configure it for Facebook and enter your mobile number amongst other things so it’s a while before you can get started. Once logged in however, the interface is very click and reminds me of the iPod touch keypad.

It is rather overwhelming however. I’m simply not used to being able to do so many things from what looks look an IM client and it does take some time to find your way round it. That said, it’s also got a lot of potential – the ability to do so much communication from one place is an appealing one indeed.

VoxOx is an interesting concept and if you’re looking for an all in one communication suite, it’s definitely worth a look.
