Smartphone software application to block pop-up advertisements

Adguard for Android is a great software package if you have been looking to block annoying and potentially disruptive advertisements associated with specific websites. It functions similarly to other bundles such as Firefox AdBlock Plus. This will speed up page loading times and prevent potentially malicious software from entering into an operating system.

Main Functions and Options

One of the unique aspects of Adguard for Android is the fact that it filters traffic without the need to access what are known as ROOT privileges. In other words, it will not depend upon a separate virtual private network (VPN). This dramatically increases its efficiency. It blocks advertisements from individual websites as well as from games and videos. A built-in firewall provides further protection from the latest malware and phishing threats. One-touch activation signifies that users with no previous experience will not have any issues operating the package.

Additional Benefits

As Adguard for Android hides the personal information of the user, the chances of data theft are dramatically reduced. There are two different methods available for blocking advertisements. These are through either a local HTTP proxy or via a VPN mode. This software will download in seconds and very little memory is required. Updates occur on a regular basis.

So you want to impress your friends with your singing skill, but they only like to listen to those boring old top-40 songs; and that brand new Karaoke machine you just bought is broken. What can you do?

AnalogX Vocal Remover works on the same principles that the hardware removers do – that in most instances vocals are equally mixed in both channels, and can identified and therefore removed by simply changing the phase on one channel by 180 degrees. While this won’t remove vocals in all instances, it does work in many cases, and can sometimes be used to remove bass or breakbeat sections as well, which I find to be GREAT for sampling! Depending on the effects used on the vocals, sometimes the reverb or ambience of the vocals is left.

In order to use the DirectX Vocal Remover, your application must support DirectX Audio Plugins, and must also support either realtime or non-realtime processing (such as Paris, Cakewalk, WaveLab, CoolEdit, etc). Vocal Remover requires a stereo sound streams, and supports either 16bit or 32bit data types.
