Easily divide videos into smaller pieces

VidSplitter is a free, attractive app that will allow you to split large video files into smaller pieces.

So, why might you want to split files? Well, you might want to burn the file onto CDs or DVDs, or cut it into manageable pieces so that you can send it more easily by email. VidSplitter is perfect for tasks like these.

VidSplitter is very easy to use. Just select the video file you want to split and choose the output location and size. Usefully, VidSplitter lets you use two ways of choosing how to split them up – you can choose from 3 presets, or pick the split size yourself.

This app supports various file formats (including AVI, MPEG, WMV and ASF)) and also lets you make some easy video and audio tweaks, like picking the aspect of the new, split videos or using different codecs. VidSplitter also offers some more advanced options under Filter Properties.

VidSplitter is a simple program, but it gets the job done and is a clear improvement on some similar apps.
