Play your files all at once

VideoScenePlayer is a free video software that enables you to open and watch multiple videos at the same time. Developed by Noriyuki Higa, this multimedia program is a simple and fast video player that supports most of the popular video formats available.

Similar to VLC Media Player, VideoScenePlayer is designed to be easy to use for anyone. You can configure it and even allow it to fade as a transparent window while you use other applications. Sending feedback for any issues or bugs is easy enough but take note that the developer is a non-English speaker.

An easy-to-use player

VideoScenePlayer is just like other video player programs. It can launch and play video files using well-known formats. The aspects for each video—such as the playback position, AB loop setting, volume, playback switch, window position, and window size—are also included. Basic and advanced player controls are featured here, as well. You can play, pause, and stop the playback and even rewind and forward the clips.

Its most unique feature, however, is the ability to play several videos simultaneously. It does so by opening various windows to accommodate the number of videos you’ve set up to play. In this regard, this software is also compatible with multiple monitors. Not only that but it also offers a feature called “Glass Mode,” which allows you to set a video to transparent via a slider.

This functionality is interesting as it also lets you use other programs while the video still playing over them. You can freely resize the window if you find this mode a bit disorienting in fullscreen. However, while these features are all handy, the software doesn’t have any advanced configurable settings to be able to compete properly with its rivals. You can only use its controls and open files.

Severely lacking in settings

All in all, VideoScenePlayer is a great choice if you want a video player that doesn’t require a lot of customization and can play numerous files at the same time. It even has a cool feature if you want your video to play over your other applications. However, veteran video software users will find the lack of in-depth settings disappointing.
