Free-to-play horror-action play
Video Horror Society is a cost-free action game that presents terrifying horror elements, reviving the creepy monster heroes from 1980s video games. Here, you can freely choose which side you wish to battle in—be a good human or a vile monstrous creature. You must survive and triumph in a thrilling and unbalanced four-versus-one online combat play.
Moreover, it also grants you multiplayer mode wherein you can team up with your friends for online co-op gaming. Developed by Hellbent Games, Video Horror Society is still in its early access stage, which means random bugs can be encountered.
Master monster vs. resilient teen
As stated, Video Horror Society offers two different gameplay experiences that you can freely explore, Teen Survival and Monster Master. With the Teen Survival play, this is where you can work together with your friends in order to achieve your unified goal—vanish and defeat the behemoth force. You are equipped with four stigma classifications such as burn, purify, curse, and shock.
Displayed under each stigma type are three various weapons and some of them require to be unlocked. To unlock more upgraded firearms, you just need to continuously use the initial armament you’ve made. You will create the weapons in the crafting station scattered around the environment. However, you should be cautious when making it as it generates a loud sound that can lure monsters.
When assuming the role of the evil creature you’re considered the master of the play because your actions as a monster will determine the teen’s future movement. Your aim is to shoot and deplete all the team member’s health until they all die down. You’ll only have yourself to depend on here, so you should be wary of making silly mistakes as it can cause your imminent downfall.
Triumph as a teen or a monster
The capability to play different characters in the Video Horror Society game grants you comprehensive and varying mechanics to explore. Whether you decide to take the monster or teen role, highly intense, competitive, and action-filled long hours of gameplay await you. Nonetheless, keep in mind that this is still in the development stage wherein features are bound to change and bugs are inevitable to run into.
