Pricey but Capable

The main selling point of Clone2Go is that you can simply select the device you wish to play the video file on, and it will convert it to the appropriate format quickly and easily. It supports audio files as well, and supports a wide range of file formats (though not all formats). Multiple files can be converted at once with batch conversion, and you can customise the output parameters if you need something very specific, such as a particular resolution or bitrate. There are some basic video editing capabilities, such as trimming video.

Works for Most Formats

There are a few formats, such as protected M4V files and DVD VOB files, that can’t be converted. And there’s no option to extract DVD video directly into the app. But for most use cases, Clone2Go is a perfectly good solution at a relatively reasonable price.
