A classic
Now considered a cult classic among RPG genre fans, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines brilliantly mixes first person action, interwoven plot lines, and vampires. Set in the underbelly of modern day L.A. this dark tale casts you as a newly turned child of Dracula who must choose allegiances as you build a place for yourself in this undead society.
The game offers seven clans to choose between, all of which are loosely aligned against the Sabbat – vampires who embrace their beast like nature. Each of these groups their own advantages and disadvantages, and which you join with impacts how you progress through the game.
For example, pick the Nosferatu and your deformities have you needing to stick to the shadows, but you gain an aptitude for tech and intelligence. A clan like the Brujah, on the other hand, prove inflexible in their thinking but have excellent fighting skills.
