A free and cute puzzle game about organizing

Unpacking Master is a free puzzle mobile video game wherein you must unpack and arrange various items throughout different rooms. Developed by SayGames, this 3D isometric puzzle game is a relaxing experience for those who love to tidy up and organize objects, especially in homes. 

Highly similar to the zen puzzle game, Unpacking by Witch Beam, Unpacking Master features several levels in which you’re given everyday household items that belong to the featured room of the level. There’s no fail condition in this game so you can take your time in organizing and figuring out what goes where.

There’s something calming about unpacking

In Unpacking Master, the gameplay and goal are pretty simple. Simply tap a box to fully open it and start placing down and storing away whatever item you get. Dragging them to certain locations around the room and furniture will adjust their orientation depending on how they should be stored. Sometimes, they’ll even begin animations in that spot. You’ll complete the level once all objects are properly organized.

As mentioned, there’s no way to fail the game. Objects will be outlined in red if they’re somewhere inappropriate but the level will simply wait for you to find a better spot instead of deducting points or whatnot. Just satisfy your sensibilities regarding the organization of household items. There’s no rush to win. Additionally, unlike Unpacking, you’ll tend to focus on just one room for each level.

Unfortunately, there are still some limitations in this game. For one, the object rotation is automatic depending on where you place them so you can’t fully customize how they’ll look. It can also be pretty tricky to grab the right item if you’re not zoomed in on the screen. You also can’t replay past levels unless you uninstall the game. Lastly, ads often play in the middle of a level.

No need to worry about losing

All in all, Unpacking Master is a nice little puzzle game for those who love organizing and figuring out how and where to fit things properly. While it has some issues, these don’t fully detract from its charm. Additionally, it’s completely free and even gives you the option to get extra items by watching ads. If you’d like to experience Unpacking in mobile game form, this is a good choice.
