True Spear Combat – Swords and Spears Review

True Spear Combat is a Unique Spear Sword Mod that adds a dozen of great spears and arrows to the game. It also adds new animations for your spears/halberds/tridents, so you can really feel a sense of realism when using them in combat. It’s also a very popular weapon for collectors of games modding, because many users have found it to be an enjoyable game to play, whether used in combat or for simple decoration.

I actually started playing Spear Combat because of one of my favorite MMORPGs ever, Mistspring – I was hooked from the second I saw the spear mod. I played the game almost exclusively using the spear, until I got bored. However, when I started looking for Spear weapons for this new game I was not able to find many new models. I wanted to find something that looked like the spear from Mistspring, but the spear in this game had a really weird, retro look to it. I wasn’t sure if I liked it at all, so I wasn’t going to spend much money on it. Luckily, Bouboule, the guy that developed True Spear Combat, offered me this awesome mod.

True Spear Combat offers a variety of unique spear weapons and they have a great variety of animation packs to go along with them. The package includes spear damage sounds, a great MCM menu, spear sounds that play while charging, an MCM menu that shows exactly how much your spear will last, a cool custom shield model, and even some alternate sounds that I’ve found to be really fun. The only problem I’ve had so far is that it’s not compatible with the latest patch for the game, but other than that this is a great mod that I really love playing. If you are someone who has played the game before, I highly recommend giving it a try.
