Co-op virtual reality action game
Trickster VR: Co-op Dungeon Crawler is an early access action adventure game. Fight through a series of 35 levels with up to 4 players in online co-op or tackle the hordes of orcs alone.
Join the party
Consisting of simple levels with bosses and defend-the-point horde modes, Trickster VR: Co-op Dungeon Crawler is a basic first person action mode. The standard features, such as upgradeable weapons and navigable levels, work well enough but the co-op mode is the main selling point. Playing online with a friend elevates the game from mediocre to above-average. Hacking and slashing through hordes of monsters alongside other players is surprisingly fun thanks to the virtual reality novelty despite a few glaring shortcomings. Trickster VR: Co-op Dungeon Crawler certainly feels like an early access title with its poor navigation and minimal enemy variety but, unlike most VR games, holds the player’s attention for a few solid hours. Movement can be set to teleporting or pointing which helps with motion sickness.
Dangerous alone
Trickster VR: Co-op Dungeon Crawler is a decent VR action game. Playing with friends is all but essential for full enjoyment.
