A free guide app for a fan game
Trick Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4 is a free mobile video game utility app that gives gameplay advice to players of the fan-made game, Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4. This app is basically a guide and walkthrough for the game, supplying tips and tricks on how to beat some of the levels.
Unlike other similar apps, however, Trick Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4 doesn’t deliver the best walkthrough. Its interface and actual content are in two different languages and there are not a lot of features available to make it a handy app to have.
More fun for DB fans
Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4 is a beloved fan project of creating a well-deserved sequel to Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3. This action fighting game was released in 2007 for the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii as the third installment of the Budokai Tenkaichi series. However, while it was popular enough, it never garnered another installment. The project aims to create something to tide everyone over.
Thus, Trick Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4 is here to provide a user walkthrough to help you complete levels and defeat various enemies in the game. Its use is pretty straightforward enough, as you simply tap any of the three “Guide” buttons on the menu. It will then display a one-page guide about the controls and how to generally finish a fight. Here is where the app’s main problem lies, however.
The interface text is in English but the walkthrough itself is set in Italian — and you cannot change this setting. Another thing is that the three one-page guides are all that the app offers to you, which doesn’t encompass the entire game. There’s another button named “More Guide Game” but all it does is redirect you outside to another app in Google Play Store.
Not really interesting
All in all, Trick Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4 is not really the efficient and handy app that it presents itself to be. While it does give actual tips and tricks if you translate it, these aren’t enough to justify downloading a separate app. You can simply look up a guide on the internet with just your browser of choice and skip it.
