Match three game with an Aztec twist

Treasures of Montezuma 2 is a Bejeweled-style match three game for Android. Puzzles are set against an Aztec backdrop.

This Lite version of Treasures of Montezuma 2 allows you to play in Adventure mode, where you must complete a series of puzzle challenges on a level-by-level basis. The full version of the game also includes Survival and Puzzle modes.

The gameplay in Treasures of Montezuma 2 is almost identical to other match three games, such as Bejeweled. The object is to make lines of three or more colored gems by swapping them with adjacent gems. Once you’ve reached a certain quota of lines you can move onto the next level.

Plenty of care has been taken by the developer to prevent Treasures of Montezuma 2 becoming too drab. The polished background graphics vary from stage to stage and there are different types of gems that reward you with bonus points if you manage to place them. That said, the overall gameplay is hardly anything original.
