OMG Moto GP is F2P
Traffic Racer is a simple lane racer that blends great graphics and tight accelerometer controls to deliver a fun, free-to-play, two-wheel racing experience.
Two wheels are better the four
Taking your motorbike (or scooter) and hitting the road, Traffic Rider is a two-wheel racer has you dodging traffic on your way to the checkered flag. Tilting your phone or tablet controls the action. This feels great and responsive, letting you weave through larger road users with ease.
To balance your speed, buttons on either side of the screen control your acceleration and break. As with all such games, the need for a break escapes me, but occasionally it would probably benefit me to slow down to hit those high scores.
As the action speeds up, things become progressively harder, forcing you to perform near misses with traffic to gain extra seconds. This is the one wrinkle that makes this more involved than Tomy Turnin’ Turbo Dashboard.
Polished to a high shine
Traffic Racer presentation is fantastically polished. The bike models are crisp, the world map clear and bright, but it is the on road action that really impresses. Trucks and cars all look great – happily indicating when the intend to change lane – while every environment looks stunning, with different scenery and lighting conditions smoothly zipping past.
Promising no energy systems to gate your play, Traffic Rider happily lets you race forever without the need to pay or wait. The only problem is that you cannot expect to progress through the tracks this way. Time limits are to fast to reach without upgrading your machine, so to keep moving through the game you must pay or grind… but at least the grinding is fun.
Start your engines
As long as you are ready to grind, Traffic Racer is a fun and free little game. Plus it looks great.
