Towns and Villages Enhanced – Villages Are coming in handy

Towns and Villages Enhanced – Villages are not just a nice place to stay in the winter. In fact, the weather in this mod is made so that it is cold during the winter and a little bit hot in the summers. When I say ‘basic’, it means that most of the vanilla features are present (including, but not limited to, trading, smelting, grinding and assembling). The features that are not yet implemented are: trading, smelting and assembling. Adding functionality to unused villagers should be easy. A couple of vanilla tweaks would do the trick.

This mod doesn’t seem to have many bugs so far, but it’s still a bug-free mod and there should be no bugs for a few more weeks (I haven’t noticed any yet). If you like the idea but want to see something extra in your game, why not try adding a couple of Villages and Towns to your game? By adding them at random places in your game, you create a sense of depth and immersion in your game that’s not usually found in vanilla games with random villages. Adding Villages and Towns to existing towns should be a lot easier now, considering there are already plenty of them in vanilla skim. But don’t just stop there; there are several other mods out there that could help you with the same objective, creating even more variety and challenge in your game.

If you’ve played Tamriel for any length of time, you’ll notice that all towns and villages look pretty much the same. It’s a little disconcerting when you see a new town or village and realize that all of its features are the same as every other town in Tamriel. But I suppose that’s part of what makes it fun. It’s not enough to be the same as every other town in Tamriel – there has to be something special about it. If you’re looking to make your own unique experience in the game, adding a few towns and villages to your already existent game is a good way to start doing that.
