At Torrid, we’re all about breaking the rules of fashion and design to create clothes that are not necessarily fit-centric, but body-centric. It was the early 2000s when we started to create our first collections for curvy and plus-size women, and it’s been our mission ever since to break the rules of fashion and design by creating clothes that are not necessarily fit-centric, but body-centric. It’s our philosophy to create fashion for all, and we’re not afraid to challenge the norms and expectations of the fashion industry.

As we hit our 20-year milestone, we reflect on how we’ve spent the last two decades breaking the rules of design in pursuit of the perfect fit. We didn’t believe curvy bodies should change to fit clothes; we changed clothes to fit curvy bodies.
