Free online multiplayer FPS

Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence is a free-to-play action game from Ubisoft. This is a third-person shooter game that brings the classic The Division franchise to mobile. However, this game promises a new story independent of its console predecessors. It still features an open-world campaign that is playable for both single and multiplayer sessions.

As the first mobile entry, Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence has the kind of graphics you’d expect from a AAA title. The interface is similar to any shooter game, like Call of Duty: Mobile, although certain game mechanics can come across as weird for new players.

Join The Division once more

In Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, players are once again introduced to the Strategic Homeland Division, or simply The Division. This clandestine part of the US government assigns missions across a massive and urban open-world map. It offers a new storyline that promises new interactions with a mix of old and new characters. The overall premise stays the same: you are an operative tasked with carrying out different missions.

Visually speaking, it’s a lot like PUBG Mobile or CODM, but with obviously better graphics. The set designs are more lifelike, with the effort put into every detail. The controls are intuitive since it doesn’t depart much from the usual touchscreen control layout, making them easy to get into. It also offers a similar level of customization and action as its console counterparts, although not quite at the same pacing.

The game also offers full controller support, provided your device can handle it. Still, the animation and movement mechanics are slower than other Division games, although it’s well-optimized for mobile. As mentioned, the learning curve could make it challenging for new players. Aside from the upgrades, there are missions that aren’t meant to be played straightforwardly. Some of the missions will require stealth, planning, and the right weapons.

A promising venture into mobile

It should be noted that comparing Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence to its counterparts in other platforms is not accurate. The graphics and the pacing will definitely fall short, but these same things work especially well for mobile devices. Compared to other shooting games, it has a superior visual quality. Meanwhile, slower pacing helps the game stress the need for planning instead of just fast-paced shooting. Recommended.
