Join the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in shredding Shredder
TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is a side-scrolling beat-’em-up game. You must fight through hordes of enemy ninjas, so it is not unlike Gang Beasts Warriors. It’s available to those who subscribe to Netflix Games.
Players of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge will be treated to fast-paced action as they play as one of the four Ninja Turtles. Blades of wind, explosions, and kung-fu moves will rock the battlefield while the turtles fight against large groups of enemies and huge, strong bosses.
No time for pizza
Once you start playing Shredder’s Revenge, the action never stops. You’ll be attacked by enemies consistently, with only brief breaks in between, and you’ll need to use a bevy of different weapons and moves to defeat them. However, you don’t have to go it alone, as the game has near-flawless co-op with up to four players.
No DLC, either
Some players will be pleased to know that Shredder’s Revenge will have no DLC. That means all the content is already in the game. The game still receives developer updates, mostly to ameliorate the occasional bugs or crashes that can occur during play.
Best with high-end devices
The game’s graphics demand a high-quality screen, and when the screen is full of enemies, they can also demand a good phone or tablet. After all, the game was originally made for the PS4. This also means that players will generally want a controller, as the on-screen controls are a bit wonky and cannot be customized much.
Good, clean fun
Overall, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is a great game for players of all ages and experience levels. It’s beautiful in motion and fun to play. However, the enemies can sometimes stop moving, and it offers players a limited level of control and customization. That said, all of this makes Shredder’s Revenge a very solid beat-’em-up.
