Save the souls from the sinking ship
If you were as sad as me when Leonardo Di Caprio died at the end of Titanic, then here’s your chance to rewrite history.
Titanic Rescue is a free game from the makers of the excellent Traffic Rush game. The object of the game is to save the passengers aboard the famous doomed liner. You do this by flicking them from their position in the portholes onto the lifeboats that are floating past beneath.
The controls in Titanic Rescue are very easy to master, which makes it instantly playable and instantly addictive. You simply hold your finger on a passenger and flick them into the air. Besides being a good aim, you’ll also need to be accurate with your timing, because if one of the trembling passengers hits the water, you lose one of your five lives.
Titanic Rescue’s graphics aren’t exactly mind-blowing, and although they are colourful, they’re not very detailed. The sound is good fun though, thanks to a combination of catchy background music and hilarious voices and sound effects.
Titanic Rescue is a fun game of skill to kill some time on the bus, but it does get very repetitive.
