Keep your balance!
Tightwire Lite is a one level taster of the non-lite version. Guide an unlikely looking character to safety over a tightrope.
This is totally tilt controlled, with no other interaction necessary – tilt forward and back to speed up and slow down, left and right to balance. The third person view looks pretty good – the large tightrope walker is really well animated, but he’s let down by generic backgrounds.
The sound effects are just what you might expect – minimal, but with suitably blood curdling screams as the chubby protagonist falls to his death. You don’t see the results of him hitting the ground, fortunately! But you will fall, a lot. It is extraordinarily difficult to get across the tightrope! What results from this is a game that’s more about finding someone falling off a tightrope entertaining, than helping him across
Tightwire Lite is a nice idea, but the controls are over sensitive, and this version only offers one level and game mode to boot.
