On to a Weird Adventure

If you don’t have anything to do, why not play a unique game? The Temple of No is not your ordinary adventure game. For one thing, it does not require you to control the movements of your character. It only needs you to click on the underlined lines for the story is already set. Created by William Pugh, one of the developers behind The Stanley Parable, the Temple of No is, in reality, an interactive fiction game where you directs the story of the game. It has multiple storylines that depend on your choices. You can either go on an adventure as either a woman, a bloke, or as a frog to find the map that sees all things that have happened or will be. The game boasts a humorous flow with branching choices that will leave you intrigued as to how the story will go if you have chosen the other options. There is nothing for the players to do but click the underlined words or choose from the provided options. However, in addition to the silly jokes, The Temple of No is also loaded with endearing cartoon graphics and sound effects, making it more of a children’s picture book than a game.
