The Kids Are Alright – Rejuvenate Your Game With This Mod
The Kids Are Alright is a new, modders-only small update to The Elder Scrolls: The Children of Winter downloadable. It replaces the default kids from vanilla The Elder Scrolls: The Children of Winter with a massive number of kids from the Skryim and Harkon regions of Tamriel. This game mod replaces the old kids with some vanilla characters, improves visuals and sounds, re-balances the leveling and rebalances the stats. It also adds a new, recruitable faction, the Fighters for hire which includes: House Baladiers, House Mages, House Thieves, House Guards, and Mages Guild.
The mod also takes you through skyrim’s major cities and gives a comprehensive overhaul of skyrim’s children as well. The main story line, as well as many of the side quests, are made more engaging thanks to a well designed story-line, better music and voice acting, better scripting, better animations, better landscaping, bug fixes and general rebalancing. It also makes the game more balanced overall, especially in the offensive department thanks to several powerups introduced into the game. The Kids Are Alright Renewal is definitely recommended for anyone looking for a solid skim mod that doesn’t make the Elder Scrolls series look like a buggy mess, and who enjoys playing a game where all the children have something to do besides run around and kill.
To sum it up, this skyrim overhaul mod is great for people who haven’t played much skim or who don’t like large crowds of mindless kids running around and fighting. If you enjoy playing RPGs with lots of non-player character (NPC) interaction, this mod is for you. If you’ve played other games in the series and found them to be too formulaic, this one will really appeal to you. Either way, I suggest downloading The Kids Are Alright Renewal if you like the game but don’t really like any of its features.
