Turn your Android to Windows 7
Microsoft has released so many Windows operating systems in the past, but one the most popular still remains to be Windows 7. It may not be perfect, and it has its fair share of detractors, but as a whole, it’s certainly one of the more highly-regarded Windows OS out there. It’s no surprise that even Android users want to have it as their themes to personalize devices.
Additional Requirements
The Tema Windows 7 para GO Launcher EX is an Android theme developed by Sergio Andre Fagundes. While the premise of this product is really good, the execution isn’t, unfortunately. First, in order to run this them, you need the GO Launcher EX. What’s more annoying is that you need to have more recent versions of the app in order for it to work on certain devices. That alone is frustrating enough, but what’s even more frustrating is the Windows 7 aesthetic that the designer chose to adapt.
Windows 7?
For some reason, the designer of this theme chose to ignore everything that was good about Windows 7, and this resulted in a clunky mess that vaguely resembles Windows 7 at all. Although Windows 7 is highly customizable, what was really admirable about it was its simplicity and speed. This theme doesn’t have that at all. There are a lot of unnecessary shades, colors, and icons that just make it so much more unpleasant to the eye. In fact, upon closer inspection, the theme more closely resembles Windows XP than it does Windows 7.
There Are Better Options
There are a lot of great apps out there that can give your Android a Windows 7 look, but this one isn’t it. Whether you’re looking for Windows 7’s trademark aesthetic or its simplicity in function, this app doesn’t have either. It’s messy and at times incredibly complicated. Not to mention you have to go through the trouble of installing another software to get this to work. It’s just way too much effort for something that’s not really worth it. If you really have your eyes set on getting a Windows 7 theme, there are certainly better options.
