Need help managing your tabs?
Tab Catalog is a Firefox add-on that allows you to see small thumbnails of all of your open tabs. One of its best features is how easy it is to display the tab menu.
There are loads of ways, from using the little icon that appears on your toolbar to clicking both left and right mouse buttons at once.
No matter how you open it, Tab Catalog displays your tabs in a pop-up window surrounded by a translucent black area, so you can see your tabs against whatever background your current tab provides.
Clicking on an image will take you straight to the tab, and you can also close the page or browse back and forth straight from within the Tab Catalog window.
Tab Catalog is a nice idea, but I thought the images were low quality which was only good for identifying the page in very general terms.
It might provide some extra functionality if you have dozens of tabs open, but if they are all from the same website for instance, it would be pretty hard to tell one from the next.
That said, Tab Catalog has some excellent configuration options for an add-on, so give it a try. If you need help managing your tabs, it might be the extension you’re looking for.
