Free card game with music and graphics
Vector Hat has released an updated version of Radical Solitaire called Super Radical Solitaire. You can still swap a card with any face-down card, but there are now mini-games in this game that will allow you to cheat your way to innumerable wins. This casual card game offers to enjoy new extra super-rad graphics modes! You can also teach the true speech synthesis robot to say your name to shirk your duties all while you enjoy the endlessly long soundtrack generated by the non-repeating algorithm.
New take on Solitaire
Super Radical Solitaire is the sequel to the 1982 arcade game, Radical Solitaire. The game’s goal is for you to ‘get rad’ and exchange any of your cards with a face-down card. You can do this as many times as you want so you can win. When you win the mini-games, you’ll be allowed to peek at cards during official matches. Cards are displayed in 16 vibrant, neon colors. The game puts a twist on the classic game of Solitaire, allowing you to ‘cheat’ and switch out cards.
You can only do this after you complete the minigames. This allows you to complete a set even if your first hand had a bum card like a face-down card. Other features that stand out in this game are the non-repeating algorithm-generated soundtrack and the real speech synthesis robot. You’ll get to listen to fast-paced chiptunes as you play, and get to hear the game call you by name.
You begin with 3 mini-games; you’ll need to complete the first game before unlocking the other. Each of them based on other games like Flappy Bird, Minesweeper, Bust-a-Move, and Memory Match. Some of the minigames are more challenging than others, but they make for a nice addition that helps to bypass the frustrations of your cards getting trapped in a dead-end. The retro presentation is also really cool and brings to the classic game of Solitaire a good bit of personality.
Great addition to a classic card game
Super Radical Solitaire is a great game for users that often play Solitaire. The rules of the game are the same but with the addition of the free passes to swap cards. Extra features such as the soundtrack and AI make the experience more enjoyable than an average card game.
