Free FPS and puzzle game

SUPER IS HOT is an ambitious crossover between two independent games: Baba is You and SUPERHOT. SUPER IS HOT is a first-person shooter and puzzle game where the rules are generated by players. In this game, those who are familiar with SUPERHOT will have the advantage because it pretty much looks just like it. The most important distinction here is that time moves only when you do.

An unlikely combination of games

SUPER IS HOT was designed for the ‘7 Day First Person Shooter‘ event, showcasing what kind of result you would get if you combined two very different games. Set in a minimalist environment, your job is to eliminate aggressive attackers attempting to destroy you. The only weapons you have are the ones you loot from your assailants. Moreover, all weapons have minimal ammo, forcing you to knock down other enemies in order to acquire new weapons.

Whether you use a pistol or one of your melee abilities, you will be able to take your enemies down. Be careful though! It only takes one bullet to kill you immediately, and you will have to repeat the entire level when that happens. It might sound like your typical FPS game, but it has two unique features. First, time moves only when you do. By slowing down, you can weigh your options, and eventually prevent death.

The second feature is that any player will be able to change the rules during gameplay. Sounds convenient, right? It will depend on the gaming experience of the player. Every rule will comprise of 7 blocks: TIME, YOU, IS, MOVE, WHEN, STOP, and SHOOT. The blocks will need to be pushed or rearranged to create a new rule. With 7 blocks, there are at least 127 variations you can make, so every round of the game has a completely different outcome each time.

A truly unique FPS experience

SUPER IS HOT is a game perfect for first-person-shooter enthusiasts. Your time is focused on crafting plans and forecasting effects as it is free of plotlines and rewards. The game has a limited number of stages, but encouraging you to change the rules and giving you all the weapons you need (via loot) more than makes up for it and increases the game’s replayability as well.
