Stories from the Outbreak is a thrilling turn-based zombie roguelike RPG developed by Coldwild Games. The game is set in the year 2020, where a new deadly disease has spread across the world, causing chaos and destruction. As a player, you wake up in your apartment in the city of Riga to find out that zombies have risen from the dead and are attacking humans. The police and the army have failed to protect the citizens, leaving them to fend for themselves.

In this game, you take on the role of a leader and must lead a group of survivors from the doomed city of Riga towards the last ferry heading out to Iceland from the western shore. You must scavenge for supplies, fight the zombies, and make tough choices that will determine the fate of your crew. With 15+ different enemy types, you must use your survival skills to make it through the zombie-infested world. The game aims to be a story generator, and not all of your team members will survive. Will you be able to make it to the ferry, or will you succumb to the zombie plague?
