A free 2D one-on-one fighting game
Stickman fighter: Epic battle places you in one-to-one combat with another stick figure. The enemy is controlled by the program and not by other online players. You must string together a series of shots with the hopes your shots connect and your enemy’s shots do not.
Rock, Paper, Scissors fighting mechanic
Stickman fighter: Epic battle is a clone of the very first Mortal Kombat games except that it has less variety and worse graphics because this game didn’t have the development budget that the Mortal Kombat games had. The aim is to defeat the NPC character with a series of punches, kicks and catches. It is less about timing your shots and more about stringing your shots together and hoping for a lucky combination. It has a “Rock, Paper, Scissors” feel to it because you hope that your enemy is about to strike with a punch when you are about to strike with a catch. For this reason, the game is mostly based on luck, but you may increase your chances of making successful shots and getting lucky hits by upgrading your character with weapons. You buy weapons by earning coins from winning battles.
Not what you may expect
Stickman fighter: Epic battle was not created by the same development company that spawned the more popular stickman Smartphone games. The word “Stickman” isn’t a trademark or copyrighted in a way that stops other people using it. The game you play is a little flatter and less dynamic than the more popular Stickman games. However, Stickman fighter: Epic battle is not a bad game. It is better than the free online games and old Flash games that you find online. Set your expectations low, and you may be pleasantly surprised. It is not an easy game to master, which may dissuade casual gamers from completing it.
