Sonic Origins is an action game developed by SEGA. This game relives the classic adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. It features remasters of the first four platform games in the Sonic series: Sonic the Hedgehog (1991), Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992), Sonic CD (1993), and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles (1994).
The games in Sonic Origins are playable in their original format. However, there will be a new widescreen format that removes lives. There will also be additional modes and missions that you can unlock. Although, some of its features are locked behind paid-for DLC.
What is Sonic Origins?
Sonic Origins is not just a game. It is a compilation of four classic Sonic games released for the Sega Genesis and the Sega CD. Here, you will speed down memory lane to thwart the sinister plans of Doctor Robotnik. Although, you can experience them in high definition. It also has an all-new opening and ending animations for each of the four titles.

Playing these modes allows players to earn coins. Then, you can use these coins to buy new content in an in-game museum or for additional attempts in special stages. There will also be DLCs available. However, as mentioned, these DLCs require additional payment. With this, you will be paying extra when you wish to experience the extensions of the classic Sonic games.
