Shortcuts for Safari
The Sogudi plugin for Safari lets you create shortcuts for complicated urls. Instead of typing a full address, you can create a shortcut of only a few words.
The thing with that Sogudi is that it’s not limited to creating shortcuts for websites. If you type in your shortcut (such as goo for Google) then type in any search term, you can actually use it like a normal search tool.
Obviously if you’ve already added your favorite search engines to the Safari search box, you may find it of little utility. However, you have to think that Sogudi does not limit you to these search engines but also lets you search any site you want to.
Although installation was quick, I did need a bit of time getting used to the process of adding bookmarks. It’s a good thing that Sogudi includes preset shortcuts to help you get started.
Sogudi, by letting you create simple shortcuts for url, can make for a good complement for your Safari browser. This one’s for productivity geeks!
