Soer Dolls is an indie game developed by SoerGames. It is a horror adventure game that challenges players to find enchanted dolls to save the town. However, there will be ghosts and monsters that will stop you.
The premise of Soer Dolls is very simple. The gameplay mainly consists of finding the dolls in the abandoned city. The dolls appear randomly each time, adding replay value to the game. However, for a horror game, the jumpscares are quite mellow than similar games. It also doesn’t help that the controls are quite clunky, and the optimization is quite horrible.
How do you play this game?
Soer Dolls is a game with very simple gameplay. Here, the town of Lazyville is cursed and ghosts and monsters appear in it. To save the town, you will have to find five enchanted dolls. To do so, you will explore the city and enter houses. However, the monsters and the ghosts will try to stop you from achieving your goal.
The controls are simple. You press the E key to open doors and F to open your flashlight. Opening doors will be critical to your survival as you can avoid getting killed by the monsters if you run to a house and close the door behind you. Don’t worry too much about the ghosts as they are not as scary as the monsters. Just don’t get too close to them.
It is easy to survive, but finding the dolls is difficult. The locations are always random inside houses. Moreover, they change every time you play the game. Moreover, your spawn locations are also random. Players should know, however, that the game’s run time is short. Every session will only last for about 30 to 45 minutes. You can even shorten it if you don’t care about achievements.

Overall, Soer Dolls is a casual game made more challenging by its horror elements. The gameplay is simple, and it feels as if its target players are children. Its jump scares aren’t that scary compared to other indie games as they tend to be repetitive and too easy to defeat. Adding salt to the injury is the game’s horrible optimization.
