A 3D snake-inspired action game
Snakeybus is a premium action game developed by Stovetop, LLC. This PC game draws inspiration from the classic Snake game on Nokia phones and combines it with the thrilling 3D score attack arcade style of Crazy Taxi.
In Snakeybus, the unique aspect is that your bus grows to ridiculous lengths as you collect more passengers, resulting in congested streets that force you to either dodge or collide with yourself. The jump button of this game is the means of evasive action and recharges as you acquire more passengers. However, the increasing length and weight of the bus progressively hinder its jumping ability.
A bus game with unique game mechanics
As the player in Snakeybus, you assume the role of a bus driver, not just any bus driver. Your vehicle’s length increases with each passenger pickup and drop-off, resulting in additional sections and an expanded capacity for transporting passengers. Your primary objective is to maximize the length of your bus. To achieve this, it is essential to familiarize yourself with the various maps available in the game.
The game features 11 single-player core maps, each with a distinctive theme and design, ranging from urban settings like Miami and Seattle to unconventional locales such as soccer fields, farmhouses, bedroom interiors, and many others. You can unlock these stages by earning points and advancing through the game. Moreover, this game offers the opportunity to unlock five distinct buses as you make progress.
Further, this game offers multiple game modes, but only in Classic mode can you accumulate points to unlock additional content. Nonetheless, there are other modes, like Endless and Aerial modes, that you can play and enjoy. Plus, the concept of a three-dimensional snake is impressive and functions effectively. Nonetheless, a few minor bugs are present in the game, including incomplete texture loading and occasional misnaming of destinations with names from other maps.
Enjoyable gameplay
