Skyrim – Realistic Ragdolls and Force mod changes the way ragdoll physics are handled in Skyrim, similar to HDT Physics Extension for Skyrim. The default implementation of ragdoll physics in Skyrim includes stiff limbs and almost no friction, resulting in unrealistic ragdoll physics when force is applied.

More realistic impact

Skyrim – Realistic Ragdolls and Force reduces the impact of arrows, shouts and magic on bodies. Rather than flying back across terrain, they will be pushed back a modest amount, but animate more realistically. Conversely, attacks from melee weapons will animate with more force, as if they are being hit with fists or a weapon.

Tweak ragdoll physics in Skyrim

Skyrim – Realistic Ragdolls and Force is a free mod that makes some relatively small adjustments to Skyrim’s ragdoll physics. These changes make interactions from a variety of different sources on a body react, whether this be reducing how far the impact of an arrow pushes them back or applying more force when hit with melee objects.

Limitations of the mod

Unfortunately, the game must be capped at 60FPS, or the physics in the game will break. This is an issue within the core game of Skyrim that Skyrim – Realistic Ragdolls and Force cannot fix, but is affected by it. Those with powerful computers will have to accommodate this requirement if they wish to install and run the mod.
